RemixBST.com is an online store specialising in the sale of both second hand and outlet fashion within the EU.
We want the experience of buying this type of product online to be as transparent as possible and provide a high quality product at a more affordable price than purchasing new in store.
What does BST stand for?
Buy Sell Trade
Buy sell trade stores are a popular business model in the USA where physical stores will purchase gently used clothing from their customers and then sell that clothing in the store. These stores offer their customers the option of either cash or a higher value of store credit for thier items.
Remix Buy Sell Trade (BST) intend to take that concept further with an entirely 100% online store.
What makes Remix BST different?
The most important aspect of Remix BST is to offer the best curated collection of used and outlet fashion to our customers and have the highest level of information about each item we stock.
- Each item is fully inspected and graded for condition with any defects mentioned.
- We take multiple detailed photos.
- We take multiple measurements.
- Where available, we state the material composition of each item.
We may not have massive warehouses of tens of thousands of items but our offering contains only the best brands with the best quality. The most fashionable and wearable collection.
We purchase our stock from diverse sources so that we can offer both high-quality pre-owned and new with tags items.
Are you a consignment store?
No. In general we do not offer a consignment service. When we sell pre-owned items from individuals they are items we have purchased to add to our collection.
Can I sell you my clothes?
This is something we will be opening up in a limited capacity in the near future. Our current offering of pre-owned fashion has been sourced locally.

Where do you get your stock?
We try to purchase from a wide variety of sources so to offer the highest quality and variation of items possible.
Liquidation Suppliers
The majority of our new with tags items are sourced from liquidation operators within the EU. At the end of each season brands will sell all of their remaining stock to liquidators who then resell those items to outlet stores.
For some brands, it is more financially viable to liquidate customer returns rather than return them to active stock. These customer returns are sent to liquidation brokers who resell to outlet stores.
Second Hand Wholesalers
Second hand clothing wholesalers process donated clothing and provide an initial grading and categorisation process. Although much of the donated clothing is exported outside of the EU, the highest grade of quality is offered for purchase within the EU by second hand boutiques such as Remix BST.
Individuals
Sourcing from individuals offers a great opportunity to purchase unique styles and lesser known luxury brand items. We will soon be launching our program to purchase gently used fashion from our Remix BST customers. In our first phase we will be running a limited number of purchasing spots. How do you process your stock?
Inspection
Every item we receive, regardless of source or condition, is fully inspected for any damage, deterioration, or stains. It is given a condition grade and any issues are noted in the item description.
Cleaning
Clothing items are washed where possible and necessary. Especially should an item show any signs of dirt or odour.
All clothing items are steamed to disinfect them and prepare the item for photography.
Preowned footwear will have the interiors treated with disinfectant spray and the exteriors cleaned with a cleaner suitable for the material.
Photographing
Our photographing process aims to provide the most accurate and complete view of each item. Any issues found during our inspection process will also be specifically photographed.
Measuring
With sizing changing so much between brands and countries it is important to know if an item will fit you without having to rely on an abstract size tag. We take several measurements to give you the most information.
Listing
We include all important information in our descriptions including measurements, fabric composition, and description of the condition and any specific issues with each item. We want you to be fully informed of what you are buying.
Storage
Each clothing item is stored in a reusable sealed bag to keep it safe from dust and damage while it waits for its new home. We reuse our inventory bags to reduce plastic waste.
